Those who do not play like? Since our childhood, our natural instinct is to play and have fun. Why not? Games challenging us, raise a smile on our faces, and lead us to a new reality that exists almost exclusively in our imagination. They add variety to our family life and offer a break from the oppressive routine. If you need any more reasons?

Very important by-products are quiz success, satisfaction and a sense of victory. Many games are just for fun, orare "thieves of time", or a group, our thoughts from the pressures of everyday life. Of course this is not bad, but lacks the burst of adrenaline and emotion that we feel with a stimulating and exciting new work. "Puzzles of all kinds are just that. With these games, you can personal improvement and progress. You can get a real sense of accomplishment and satisfaction of success. Perhaps most important of all, you can learn from them, expand yourimprove Horizonte, memory, concentration and creative thinking ... all while playing a fun and challenging.

brain teasers, puzzles, lateral thinking and teeth made of wood and branches are all looking for a game and more. You develop your creativity, the ability of orientation in space (especially in children), improved concentration and forces us to solve complex problems and increase our chances of finding solutions to problems in everyday life.

People want to winand make things happen. Sometimes they are amazed when they reach a solution and realize it was in front of their eyes all the time as if there were a magic screen that prevents them from seeing it. When the curtain goes down the game suddenly is viewed in a different light (especially when your way to a solution was difficult and winding). The excitement in that experience is almost impossible to explain, you simply need to solve the first game to feel the sense of self-worth and self-esteem (even excessively).

Wooden brain teasers are fascinating objects. People collect them as decoration or as a source of inspiration, and many of them were planned and designed according to ancient legends about famous enigmas and encryption techniques. Many are based on well-known mathematical proofs such as the "Tower of Hanoi." The legend tells of a Hindu temple where the priests needed to move a 64 disks towel to other location. According to the legend, when the priests complete their work the world as we know it will end. The game based on that legend is easy and fun to play, but it starts to get complex when you try to solve it in a minimum number of steps... Well, the priests did not like to work too hard!

These games have a certain creative or technical catch, a little trick that you will have to figure out in order to solve them. Sometimes this is a phrase, or a geometric trick, sometimes it is a secret door in a "Japanese Box". There are many of these boxes, all beautiful and special and often with hidden openings. In the doorway people often hide the "real gift", but to find it you would have to meet the challenge.

The games are nice toys you can fiddle with while watching television, speaking on the phone or even meeting with friends. It is the ultimate decoration to put on the coffee table. It breaks the ice, and is stimulating and conversational. It's very interesting to see the person in front of you, young or old, struggling to solve the game (of course it's more interesting and fun if you already know the solution) Observe their thought processes at work and learn how others meet a challenge. By the way, this is why their use has grown in job interviews.

People are thrilled when to receive them as gifts for the first time, and will continue to buy them for themselves. There are games for all ages and at any level of difficulty. The family will be happy and grateful for a gift that lasts over time. You of course will be happy you could give such an original and educated gift, instead of clothing, or corny computer game.

Each and every part of these games is designed to fit perfectly with the other parts to create a cool three-dimensional object. Once you've completed the 3D wooden puzzles you have a great object you can keep as a beautiful decoration. This amazing toy, made of high quality wood, is perfect as a game, gift an amusing activity.

Brain teasers are the perfect gift for puzzles lovers and challenge seekers. They are an item that can be shared between family members and friends. You can place them in surprise boxes for your friends at work. What is more special than this gift?

So, why you should have them?

1. You will get to know a magical and challenging world you did not know before.

2. You will improve your skills and become wiser.

3. You will expand your horizons.

4. They set you free.

5. They are a pure and innocent activity.

And most importantly, they are FUN!

Three Original and Educational Hobbies For Children

Nowadays most children spend huge amount of their spare time in front of the PC. Of course, the Internet gives them a lot of opportunities to learn - much more than we had when we were at their age. But how much education they get by chat rooms, dating sites and PC games? I bet these experiences are not that useful.

Wouldn't it be amazing if your children had some of the hobbies that you had when you were a kid? Or at least if they could spend more time on educational games and entertainment rather than on shooting computer generated criminals.

Here are three cool hobbies that can bring your kids a lot of joy and at the same time can have much better effect on their education and forming their character.

Clay Play
This hobby is appropriate for kids under age 5. Playing and creating items from clay lets your children explore their coordination and sense of shapes. Clay is a great material and it presents really endless opportunities for learning, exploring and creating.

Let the little kids explore the opportunities in their own way. There is no need to give them too many directions or to force them follow guides and create specific figures. Give them freedom and let them build their own things - you may get surprised how creative your kids can be.

If you want to involve elder children - between 6 and 10 age, you may want to show them more complex figures from clay. The advanced children can make entire performances with clay figures.

Playing Mind Games
Don't they play with their mind while staying on the computer? Well, not exactly and not in the way you want it. What I suggest you is to try getting your children keen on "old style" mind games. Take for example chess. Playing chess on a real desk with other real children - not online or against the computer - is not only a good way to train the kid's thinking but also a way to socialize them with other smart kids.

Chess is not the only game to consider of course. There are all kind of good old brain teasers like tic-tac-toe, battleships, word games, logical dominoes and so on. All of these games will help your kid getting smarter without turning it to a teenage nerd.

Making Paper Airplanes
This is one of my favorite ideas for a hobby which is appropriate for children of all ages. I know even adults who are keen on building paper airplanes! Making paper airplanes is a great thing for your kids because:

- It's easy and fun. It's not some overly complicated activity that will get your children bored.
- It develops the kid's creativity. There are so many ways to make a paper airplane and so many more are to be discovered.
- It's cheap. All you need is a sheet of paper.
- It's a way to learn more about such an exciting mater as the aviation.
- It teaches to patience and preciseness.

Each of the three ideas listed above will probably work great for your children. Just try to attract their attention to one or more of these hobbies and leave the rest to them.

Playing Together (Toys For Parents to Play With Children, Puppets, Etc)

These days, parents are finding it more and more difficult to find time to spend with their children. More and more families are finding that they need both parents working to make ends meet, and family time has to take second priority.

This puts a lot of imperative on making sure that, what free time you do have to spend with your children, you'd better not waste it.

It's a good idea to stock up on some toys, games and other items that allow you to play with your children. If you can find common interests between yourself and your kids, that can be a big boost to spending more family time together.

To list a few examples...

Puppets

When you picture yourself playing with puppets, you might think "Well that's fine if I've got a two year old..." but really, puppets can be a lot of fun for kids of all ages. Just put one on, hand one to each of your kids, try out a goofy voice and have fun developing goofy stories and characters together.

Games

Monopoly is great, but it bores the heck out of some kids. Be on the lookout for games that are more to your kid's tastes. If your kids love riddles and puzzles, Mindtrap is a classic for brain teasers. RISK might be a little complex for younger kids, but around the age where a child begins reading 'chapter' books, RISK is a great, in-depth game. Then there are more action-intensive games, like mini-table hockey.

Shared Hobbies

No matter what they might tell themselves, dads never stop liking remote control cars. Getting a couple RC cars and racing them across the living room can be a great bonding experience. Getting some child sized instruments like an electric organ for kids, a harmonica, or a drum kit, and then getting together to bang out some music (even if you're just goofing off and making a ruckus), is just as much fun as it sounds, and might develop into a real appreciation for music, as well.

Shared Interests

And then there are things like Star Wars and Batman, which you can't not love, no matter how old you are. You're not, really, getting old, unless you think you're too grown up to hold swordfights in the backyard with toy light sabres.

Finding Time...

The main thing is really just finding time, knowing what your kids are into, and getting involved. It's a sad fact that these days parents are finding themselves with less and less free time to spend with their kids at the end of each day. If you don't have time, make time. Sure, easier said than done, but it's worth doing, no matter how tricky it may seem to arrange your schedule to find a little playtime.

Kids who spend time with their parents, obviously, grow up feeling closer to their parents than kids who spend most of their time alone. Even after kids move out on their own, the lessons they've learned spending time with their parents stay with them for the rest of their lives. Be there for your kids, whatever it takes.

The school is out, but as I keep my children involved, so do not forget your priorities?

Good question ...

Now I would say that his father taught as a professor three grown children 20 years and under Mathematics for 5.5 years, with a part-time college associates, there are lots of options.

Let me start that studies have shown that children begin their school year, retaining less information
when the school year ended. It 's amazing that with all the hard work, study and learn from August, the children until May / Juneactually start school with less retention of this information.

Part of it is that many students to stimulate your brain by learning during the summer months. Fill watch TV with their daily routine, work longer hours, holidays, hobbies, family vacation, staying up late, sleeping late, video games, etc.

What can parents do?

Well, just inform the school children home during the summer months (my sister at home
all three of itsChildren), have you tried these ideas?

Find out first what your child needs assistance or help with subjects. Maybe your child the results of their taks (Texas got in there is an end of the national examination for the conservation and understanding of a student of English, mathematics, science and social action). Students vote in all four subjects received a high school diploma. If you test its end of the course, ACT, SAT exams, the last witness took Lookwhich files are inside, perhaps worse, your child
did well, but are always looking accepted to school, have higher grades, want to take AP classes, etc.

Others Search the site for some free web resources in each of these subjects. I used to teach students a summer program in mathematics at a private school local school to middle school, called Middle School Math with puzzles. I want students first half, algebra and algebra concepts to introducewhile reinforcing the skills they have learned before, but use some puzzles and some Web pages that were fun educational games in mathematics and computer science. It made learning the concepts of "fun."

Use this as a punishment. In my years of teaching, I wish I had a dollar every time a student said he could not count because they were stupid or not good at math. I always believed that trying to believe in themselves and have a positive attitude. I enjoy mathematics, exciting and aboveWith regard to the real world (science, English, art, social sciences, engineering, etc.). I had a student a few years ago I hated math, but at the end of Algebra II, smiled and passed. Another student has left school and came a few months later and told me he had a 4.0 average in his classes in a nursing college, and because of that I had taught Algebra II.

The idea is to get extra help or tutoring should never be used as punishment or to minimizeYour
Child. When I was in the army, if something is not achieved for the first time, go back and look
in the task, processes, how you can practice better not to practice, practice, and again.

Such is life .. It is the reality, guess if it does not take math, science, social studies and English concepts, then, was sitting on the couch all summer complaining about the school will not help, next year.

Get help. Try some online sites. If youTheir textbooks, writing these words.

b. If you can not do it alone, to see if your community has some summer school programs that can check on Some are only a few weeks, and only a few hours a day.

c. Find a mentor who can help you. Perhaps you have another student in your area that can be invoked. Find a reputable company where you get tutor lessons in order to have the comforts of home (if you're at home) and work one by one with your child. I did thisexpected for several years, and I had to mathematical concepts in a hurry, then. I have a student of seventh class C and D's seen him do in algebra, geometry and algebra II The investment for your child really helps ... Believe me, you try your child may not work tutors. My daughter told me years ago after not understand the concept of cross wishing I was her math teacher ... to give the other, my two children, not like my boring, ask questions, etc. I don 't likeAnswers.

d. visit your local library .... Believe it or not to read some books in your field. Even books such as Math for Dummies, Idiot's Guide ', have a lot of good advice to help students, but will still be fun and understandable.

e. Back to the Library. Most banks have online data and samples. We have several tests that will take you to practice your act, SAT and other exams. Look at your local library and see if some are onlinePractice tests.

f. Take a summer course at a higher grade in the class, you will need. If your local school is a preparatory class for the beginning of the ninth grade students in algebra, then this might help.

g. video series ... Personally, as tapes and DVDs from the Standard Deviants. You can use the value of the concepts in an interesting way to cover entertainment. Check that the library will look at these resources.

h. Last but not least. There is a whole world of the Internetto obtain resources for help. I know some who have the taks practice questions, SAT Prep, etc.

I hope this helps .. It can not work with every student, but the idea is to keep them intellectually challenged and still learning all summer .... Jöhnk

Three original nucleus and educational for children Hobbies

Today, most children spend most of their free time in front of the PC. Sure, the Internet offers them a lot of opportunities to learn - much more than what we had when we were their age. But how much education they receive through chat rooms, dating sites and computer games? I bet that those experiences are not so useful.

Would not it be nice if your children had any hobbies that you had when you were a child? Or, if they could have more time for educational games and spendShow rather generated on criminals shooting.

Here are three cool hobbies, bring your children enjoy and can also have much more influence on their education and their character.

Clay Play
This hobby is suitable for children under 5. Play and create objects of clay, your children can explore the coordination and sense of form. Clay is a great material and it's really endless possibilities for learning,Exploration and production.

Allow children to explore opportunities in their own way. No need to give them too many directions or force them to follow their leaders, and create specific figures. Give them freedom and let them build their own things - you may be surprised how creative can your kids.

If you want to include older children - ages 6-10, you can show them the most complex figures in clay. The children are all advanced performance with soundFigures.

Play Mind Games
Do not play with their minds, while the computer? Well, not really, not the way you want. What I propose is to try to keep your children feel like "old fashioned" Mind Games ". Take, for example, chess. Game of chess on a real desk with the other royal children - offline or against the computer - is not only a good way to train the mind of the child, but also a way to socialize with other smart kids.

Chess is not the only gameto take account of course. There are all kinds of puzzles like the good old Tic-Tac-Toe, battleships, word games, dominoes, logical, and so on. All these games will help your child more intelligent without being a nerd teenager.

Making Paper Airplanes
This is one of my favorite ideas for a hobby that is suitable for children of all ages. I also know adults are keen to build paper airplanes are! Making paper airplanes is a great thing for your childrenbecause:

- It 's easy and fun. It is not too complicated, certain activities that your children will be bored.
- Develop children's creativity. There are many ways to make a paper airplane and many more are being detected.
- It's cheap. All you need is a sheet of paper.
- Is there a way to learn more about this exciting mater as aviation.
- It teaches patience and precision.

Each of the three ideas mentioned above will probably be for the great work in yourChildren. Just try to focus on one or more of these for a hobby and leave the rest to them.

The human brain is the final realization of nature. This is a hidden treasure in our minds. How do we do with our bodies, we apply our brain the same. This isensure that our spirit to be fit and a good performance for a long time.

When we age our mental capacities diminish. We can stop or slow down this process with simple daily exercises the brain. Fortunately, many studies have many ways we do this show. A powerful is to stop routine and consistent habits. For example, brush your teeth with your other hand is a simple way we stop to rot the brain.

We try to keep your mind active as possible onthe day. In this way, we are constantly learning mode, neurons in the brain between forces to form a new synapse, every day. Most synapses is to think faster, and no congestion information "bottlenecks", less fatigue, increased IQ and more.

Gymnastics requires that all amounts paid during leisure time, exercise the brain requires much lower. Only 15 minutes from your daily free time sufficient to form the brain and force him to new synapses. Onlyplay some games and quizzes for fifteen minutes and you stay in shape the brain. "

One of the most powerful ways to keep your brain and your body young, but much time is to learn the language, a foreigner, especially one very different from your native language. This is actually a potion of youth. improve your mental skills at all levels and to increase the power of the mind. It 'as an old freezer for your brain.

ManyPeople ignore the importance of fitness and the brain only cares about his body and the way they look. But the same people feel very uncomfortable when there is a point where they show how they think. Even if exercise is good for brain function is not only a form factor that keeps the brain. Unfortunately, the brain must have its own special exercises.

The solution is to combine training with Brain Gym. E 'Not so difficult, only a decision. Remember that the brain needs much less training time for your body. Then, activate all up here is a typical management plan of the brain:

Stop or routine. Make your days differently. Do not repeat the same activities every day. New and unfamiliar stimuli to the brain. This is everything you do, even with the change of hand that if you lift the glass.

or spend a few minutes of your daily newspapertime to play the brain. These keep and maintain your neural networks.

or keep the brain active as much as possible. Think and think, all in question. Do not be a passive information. TV Turn-by rotting brain-machine to a resource, the right to judge food spirit of what they are trying to serve "you.

Or Find out if you have the time, a new foreign language.

Do not stop or gymnastics!

5 Strategies to Teach Your Children About Saving Money

Teaching your children financial skills is critical for their future. 80% of parents believe that their children are being taught personal money matters in school, yet 90% of high school students and 87% of college students say that whatever they know about money they learn from their parents. Among parents with children 5 and older, only 26% feel well enough prepared to teach their kids about personal finances. Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy measured 12th graders' knowledge of personal finance basics and found that only 10% of high school graduates could satisfactorily answer questions about personal finance.

Not sure where to start in talking to you kids about money? You're not alone. But, much like teaching your kids to look both ways before crossing the street, managing money, is a parental responsibility that safeguards kids' future. Good habits start early in life and the savings habit brings lifelong benefits. Kids are interested in money and they can learn by example and by doing. Sharing how and why your family is saving emphasizes the importance of this positive, lifelong habit.

Engage your children using some of these simple, fun suggestions and help them learn the value of money:

1. Explain to your kids what money is all about.
You can start doing this once you see that your kids are already able to learn how to count. The earlier you can teach a child or teenager about money, including earning money, saving money, and spending money responsibility, the better prepared they will be to manage their own money.

2. Talk to your child about the family budget.
Allow them to ask questions about household finances and how you manage the household budget. Reinforce the learning process by budgeting for a family outing or a purchase.

3. Encourage children to start saving by opening a savings account for them.
If they are younger, you can still make savings "real" to them by having them build their savings in a piggy bank or clear jar. You can motivate them to allot a portion of their allowance to their savings. If you have multiple children, one way to keep them motivated is by giving a prize to whoever earned the highest amount in their savings.

4. Explaining the value of spending money can also be done at home.
You can assign some household chores and pay a small amount once they were able to do it. This will help them realize that money is not earned easily and should be spent wisely.

5. Show your children how an ATM machine works.
While many children know that money doesn't grow on trees, they may think it comes out of a wall. Help your kids understand that you must put money in the bank before you can take it out.

When you discuss money with kids, you help them develop a sense of limits. You're teaching kids that the family has to make choices about how it can spend money. There's only so much money to go around -- if you spend it on some things, you won't have it to spend on others. Teaching your children about saving money doesn't have to be a difficult task. Remember to be patient and consistent, and your children will be able to learn this critical skill in an easy and fun way.

Building Confidence in Children Through Drama

Drama and the Performing Arts are excellent methods of building confidence in children and adults alike. Learning through drama allows children to explore their creativity and have fun whilst leaving their shyness and worries behind. Drama also works by stimulating and supporting the growth of imagination and other skills.

Entertainment has become rather passive with cinema, television and video games becoming more popular. These screen-based methods have had a negative impact on communication. However, drama puts the "get up and go" back into entertainment. Children have the opportunity to connect with others in a more meaningful way as drama encourages speech development, awareness of body language and allowing the child to become more socially aware.

Play and drama are closely linked. When a child plays a game they are pretending and using their imagination and so are moving away from reality to create their own story. Drama is a vehicle through which children can express themselves more freely through mime, gesture, movement and speech to make education fun.

Children gain confidence by understanding that there is no final answer in drama and that their opinion and contribution is valued. Children are able to give a personal response to many issues and situations such as poverty, bullying, global warming and recycling. The issues that drama can tackle are endless. Drama and education have a strong link as drama can encourage children to take an active interest in other subjects such as Geography, History and English and so have a more rounded education.

As a drama teacher, I have witnessed children at their first class holding onto their parent's arm-unwilling to let go. To then see the same child running into my class with a beaming smile is an excellent sight. Drama installs confidence in children by allowing them to improvise and experiment. Everyone is given the opportunity to shine within Drama.

Child-Molesting Predators Are in Your Neighborhood - Educate Your Children!

Summer is over and school is back in session. Parents are busy preparing their kids for the challenges they will face as they start the new school year. Unfortunately, child-molesting predators living and working in your neighborhood are also busy making plans and devising methods to gain access to your children.

There are over 600,000 registered molesters in the United States and more than 3,000,000 others that are unregistered. According to statistics from the National Center for Missing Children, over 10,000 of every 1,000,000 children will become missing this year (40% will never be found), that 's a 1 in 100 chance your child will be the next victim.

Imagine you are waiting at the bus stop for your five-year-old to return from Kindergarten. The bus arrives and unloads. Your child is not on the bus. Or, you look out into the back yard where your daughter was playing just a moment ago. You don't see her anywhere. You call out for her, but she doesn't answer. These are just a few of over one million similar situations that occur each year. It's every parent's worst nightmare.

In this moment of crisis, would you know what to do? Who do you call first? Should you go out looking? Or, is it better to just stay home and wait? Making the right choice can mean the difference between finding your child alive, dead or not at all. Sure, this information is frightening, but it's also true. Pretending that these things don't happen is not the way to protect our children, but educating them is. If we don't educate our children with the latest information, they'll continue to be at risk.

You may be aware of ID programs, fingerprints and DNA kits. However, you may not know that these programs do nothing to prevent a child from becoming missing. In fact, many police detectives feel that these programs contribute to the problem. Parents participate in an "ID" program and think, "now my child is safe," when nothing could be further from the truth. The Amber Alert is a great program for missing children recovery efforts, but less than 1% of missing children cases qualifies for the issue of an Amber Alert.

Americans seem to place little value on the safety and protection of their children. You can tell what an individual values most by looking at his or her checkbook. We spend hundreds of dollars monthly insuring our cars, our homes and other possessions, as well as for such services as digital or cable TV and cell phones. All of these items are replaceable, and yet we balk at the ideal of investing in the safety of our most precious possessions, our children. Our children's life cannot be replaced! We seemingly place more value on protecting our "things" than on protecting our children. What will it take to open parents' eyes to the growing problem of missing children in America?
